Welcome MYC teachers!
We are pleased to announce that Waddle & Quack has been officially approved for the supplemental list of Music for Young Children.
Here's what the Alberta Piano Teachers' Association newsletter recently had to say about Waddle & Quack:
What a fun, delicious book of well thought out catchy rhythms and tunes. Ms. Sawatsky uses reoccurring rhythm patterns with inventive, engaging, sometimes mirrored 5-finger/pentascale type melodies. Lots of dynamic use with pedal and octaves, coupled with the bold use of many key signatures, make this body of work fun for the teacher and student. The lyrics help your student to maintain the fun rhythms and lock them away for future reference. Ms. Sawatsky has included program notes for each piece. Also included are adorable, colourable pages that associate to each animal, bird or fish the pieces represent! A highly recommended addition to your library.
